Villon is the primary tool we use for our consultancy services - using Villon, users (our employees who are professionals in the field of transport and logistics) are able to create detailed simulation models of terminal operation, define simulation scenarios, make experiments with the model and evaluate results of simulation runs in one integrated user-friendly environment. Villon aids tactical (middle-term) and strategic (long-term) planning related usually to infrastructural or operational proposals, which are supposed to guarantee optimal (or at least effective) behaviour of modelled terminal.

Using Villon to your benefit
We offer licences for our Villon simulation software to consultancies, engineering bureaus, universities and anyone else.
The licence currently includes following modules of the software:
- Railway transport
- Sorting/marshalling operation
- Simple freight handling (storage)
Additional Villon modules (such as road transport, advanced transloading with manipulators, pedestrian movement) are not yet offered for licensing to third parties and are used solely by our own consultancy services.
Rich modelling capabilities
Villon's modelling abilities cover broad range of stations, yards and transportation logistics terminals not limited to rail transport mode only, but comprising also road and other transport modes (e.g. cranes, special storage equipment, etc.).
- Marshalling yards
- Passenger stations
- Industrial sidings
- Small railway networks (regional)
- Production facilities
- Container terminals
- Harbour terminals
- Road traffic (in limited area)
- Airports (ground handling)
- Storages
- and many others...
Although Villon's primary modelling target are stations/terminals and their internal operations, the software also supports, to some extent, the modelling of small regional networks (e.g. railway traffic in a region or road traffic in a limited area of a city).
