Simcon's first pedestrian movement modelling project was finished with success. The main goal of the project was a verification of passenger's egress routes and an estimation of the evacuation times from the underground railway station Bratislava Nivy in case of a fire. Bratislava Nivy station is a part of the new metro-like route (planned in conjuction with the european TEN-T corridor) that will connect Bratislava city center with Petržalka urban district. |

Simcon has successfully finished a simulation project focused on the verification of new proposed public transport concept of Košice region in the eastern part of Slovakia. Simcon's simulation tool Villon was utilised to model operation of railway, trams and tram-train transport vehicles around the city centre and in important residential areas. |

Simcon has presented its services and tools within the frame of the international conference Public Passenger Transport 2009 held on 10-11 September 2009 in Bratislava. Simulation of passenger transportation terminals using Villon simulation tool as well as our related services have been presented to the conference participants. |

Simcon has successfully finished the project for the automotive parts producer Saargummi Slovakia. The project was focused on the evaluation of new production hall and storages design. Internal transportation flows (including fork-lifters, trucks, etc.) as well as storage operations have been investigated and modelled using simulation tool Villon. |
